After electric scooter, it looks like Ola is now planning to launch an electric car in the market. Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal recently shared the images of a prototype of an electric car on Twitter asking the followers if they can keep a secret.
The manufacturer had earlier hinted that they will be offering electric two-wheelers and will be slowly expanding their portfolio to four-wheelers as well. The render image of the prototype that has been shared online clearly mentions the Ola badge on it and it is quite possible that the prototype of the upcoming electric car from the manufacturer is based on this image.

The teaser image suggest that the car would be a swanky looking battery-electric hatchback.
When Ola launches this electric car in the market, it will be the only manufacturer to offer both electric two and four wheelers in the market. Last year, Ola launched their S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters and they quickly became popular among buyers.
The manufacturer is planning to develop an electric car indigenously. For this, they are currently planning to set up a Global Design Centre in Bengaluru. The upcoming Ola electric car is likely to be built on a born-electric skateboard platform. The production version of the electric scooter is expected to get a futuristic design like the scooters. Ola will be launching the electric car as a city commuter with limited range. More details about the upcoming product are currently not available.
