2022 Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 revealed with twin-turbocharged V6 engines
After a long and globally successful 14-year run, the LC200-series Toyota Land Cruiser is finally being replaced with an all-new model. The 300 series doesn’t feature a V8 engine, but on the upside, customers will be happy to hear that a twin-turbo V6 mill replaces it with more horsepower and torque.
The 3.5-liter gasoline-fueled V6 offers 415 PS and 650 Nm. A brand-new V6 twin-turbo diesel is offered as well, and it’s even torquier at 700 Nm. Both engines are mated up with 10-speed automatic transmissions, and, of course, four-wheel drive is standard. Toyota promises reduced fuel consumption and emissions, but no specific numbers are yet available.
