Tata Motors has launched the iCNG-powered Tiago and Tigor. The Tata Tiago CNG's price starts from Rs 6.09 lakh, while the Tigor CNG has been priced from Rs 7.69 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). With the Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG, Tata Motors becomes the third mass-market carmaker to offer factory-fitted CNG kits on its passenger vehicles, the others being Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. Spied: Tata Tiago and Tigor CNG variants

Tata Motors is looking to add new variants to Tiago and Tigor range in India. TML is currently readying the CNG versions of its popular hatchback and subcompact sedan. The company has already initiated public road tests of the CNG-powered Tiago and Tigor. Both the test mules were captured on camera at a CNG filling station. The CNG versions are likely to be launched in the country later this year. The CNG variants are expected to be mechanically identical to their petrol powered counterparts.
