Spied: Tata Tiago and Tigor CNG variants

Tata Motors is looking to add new variants to Tiago and Tigor range in India. TML is currently readying the CNG versions of its popular hatchback and subcompact sedan. The company has already initiated public road tests of the CNG-powered Tiago and Tigor. Both the test mules were captured on camera at a CNG filling station. The CNG versions are likely to be launched in the country later this year. The CNG variants are expected to be mechanically identical to their petrol powered counterparts. Both cars come with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 85 BHP and 113 Nm. The peak output is expected to drop slightly when running on CNG.
