Skoda Kushaq midsized SUV launched in India. Prices start at INR 10.49 lakh

Skoda has launched the Kushaq in the Indian market. It is Skoda’s first made in India and made for India product. The Kushaq is based on the new MQB-AO-IN platform that has been specifically made for India. It is derived from the global MQB-AO platform. Skoda has achieved 95 percent of localization level. Skoda is offering the Kushaq in three variants, namely Active, Ambition and Style. It will be offered in two petrol engines  there will be no diesel engine. You can also get the Kushaq with automatic transmission. Prices start at Rs 10.49 lakh for the base 1.0 TSI Active trim and goes up to Rs 17.59 lakh ex-showroom for the top-spec 1.5 TSI AT Style trim. Skoda Kushaq India production begins. Launch soon

Skoda has begun production of the Kushaq SUV at its Chakan plant. The Kushaq is Skoda's first product under the Volkswagen Group's India 2.0 plan. Price announcement for the Kushaq is expected to take place in the coming weeks. The Kushaq is being built on a new production line, to accommodate the 95 per cent localization that Skoda-VW has achieved for the MQB-A0-IN platform. Much of the development work was also done on-site, unlike the brand's previous products, at a new tech centre commissioned in 2019. Skoda Kushaq unveiled officially, launch soon

The production-spec Skoda Kushaq has finally made its world premiere. Previewed by the Vision IN concept, the midsize SUV is the first model to arrive from the VW Group’s India 2.0 project. In terms of rivals, the Skoda Kushaq will compete against the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun, the Kia Seltos, the Hyundai Creta, the Nissan Kicks, the MG Hector and the Tata Harrier. The Kushaq gets a very modern design with split headlamps at the front but it is designed differently. The Kushaq gets all-LED headlamps with integrated LED DRL.
