Indian motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield has revealed the 120th Anniversary edition of the Interceptor and Continental GT 650 twins at EICMA 2021. The special-run bikes celebrate the brand's 120th anniversary. Royal Enfield's first-ever motorcycle was launched in November 1901 at the Stanley Cycle show in London. There'll be a limited production run of only 480 units of both 650 cc motorcycles, with Royal Enfield allotting 120 units each for India, Europe, Americas and South-East Asia. Both Royal Enfield 650 motorcycles feature a black-chrome colour scheme, with the engine, silencer and other elements finished in black, hand-painted pinstriping, while their die-cast brass tank badges are said to pay homage to the brand's 120-year-long rich and storied legacy. Royal Enfield, at Wheels and Waves festival in France, unveiled two custom made motorcycles called the Mo’ Powa’ and Dirty Duck.  The Mo’ Powa’ is a turbocharged, dragster inspired custom motorcycle based on the Classic 500 while the Dirty Duck is based on the Continental GT and gets inspirations from rugged, old-school off-road machines. Royal Enfield Continental GT café racer gets new Black colour

Royal Enfield has introduced a new color to its Continental GT 535 cc café racer family. In addition to the GT Red and GT Yellow, this café racer motorcycle will now also be available in the signature GT Black. This new color will be introduced in all markets that sell the Continental GT across the world, in a phased manner. India is the first market to see the new signature GT Black color and bookings for the motorcycle will be opened shortly. The Continental GT in black colour is available at Rs. 2, 13, 142/- on road in Delhi which is the same as the signature GT Red and GT Yellow color variants. (more…)
