Renault Triber scores 4 Star Global NCAP safety rating
Renault Triber has scored four-star rating in the GNCAP crash test. The Triber was awarded four stars in adult occupancy safety and three stars for child occupancy safety .
The Triber is Renault India's sub-four metre seven-seater SUV and one of its most successful offering, having sold more than 75,000 units since its launch in August 2019.
The NCAP test recorded the ratings based on a front-impact crash test at 64kmph. The Triber model being tested featured two front airbags and seatbelts with a pre-tensioner on the driver's side. In terms of adult safety, the Triber scored 11.62 points out of 17 points and in child safety, it scored 27 points out of 49 points. These points are given on basis of various parameters.
