TnW XClusive: Eicher Polaris Multix pickup spied testing
Eicher Polaris' first offering for the Indian market, the Multix Personal Utility Vehicle (PUV), has been spotted testing in a new avatar. The Multix in a Pickup form was spotted recently by our spy photographers.
The Multix PUV is powered by a Greaves-sourced 510.7cc, single-cylinder, BS-III compliant, water-cooled, diesel engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine puts out 9.79 BHP @ 3,000 rpm and 27.1 Nm of torque @ 1,400-2,200 rpm. It has a ground clearance of 225 mm and an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 28.45 kmpl. The pickup variant is expected to retain the same engine of the Multix PUV.
