MG Gloster launched at INR. 28.98 lakh. Comes with two diesel engine options
The Gloster was first showcased in India back at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Gloster is a re-badged version of the Maxus D90 that is sold in the Chinese market and the carmaker’s new flagship SUV has been launched in India with a starting introductory price of Rs 28.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The MG Gloster is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine, which comes in two states of tune. In the Super and Smart variants, the engine comes with a single turbocharger and makes 161 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 375 Nm @ 1,500-2,400 rpm. These variants don't get 4-wheel drive.
