2022 Mercedes Benz EQB debuts as seven-seater EV

The recently-launched Mercedes Benz EQS was a significant addition to the top rung of the brand’s EV lineup while the EQA entered the scene as a stepping stone to the marque. In a bid to expand their electric-car portfolio further, the Mercedes-Benz EQB debuts in China with seating for seven and a maximum power output of 288 hp. The Mercedes Benz EQB, as the name suggests, is the EV version of the rather square GLB SUV. The front fascia is updated to gel with the faces of its larger siblings. 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS launched. Gets Mercedes’ latest MBUX multimedia system

Mercedes-Benz India launched the new flagship GLS 2020 SUV at ₹99.90 lakh. The three-row SUV now in its third-generation is available in two variants- the 400d diesel and 450 petrol. Both the petrol and diesel variants have the same price tag. This is the second major launch for the German luxury car maker in just a few weeks after it introduced AMG C 63 Coupe and AMG GT R towards the end of May. As the previous-gen model, the 2020 GLS SUV has arrived in India as a CKD (completely knocked down) product. It is being assembled at the company's Pune based facility. Mercedes-Benz has launched the 2020 AMG GT R in the Indian market. The new Mercedes-AMG GT R is available with a price tag starting at Rs 2.48 crore, ex-showroom (India). The 2020 AMG GT R facelift continues to draw motivation from a 4.0-litre Biturbo V8, which churns out 585PS and 700 Nm and manages a 0-100kmph sprint in 3.6s flat, on its way to a top whack of 317kmph. The power is fed to the rear wheels via a 7-speed transmission. The GT R features mixed tyre and wheel sizes, ceramic brakes and rear-axle steering for optimum control and agility.
