2023 Maruti Suzuki Swift gets ESP as standard across all variants

Maruti Suzuki has updated the Swift for the 2023 model year. While no major changes have been made to the car, Maruti is now offering ESP as standard across all variants. The Maruti Swift is offered in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi Plus. Earlier, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) was only available in the top-spec ZXi Plus trim. The Maruti Suzuki Swift is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 89 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. The engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. The Swift also gets a factory-fitted CNG option.

All-new fourth-generation Suzuki Swift spied testing

Suzuki has started trials of the all-new fourth-generation Swift. The car has been spied on European roads. The new Swift is believed to be using a modified version of the Heartect platform in order to conform to more modern safety standards. A closer look at the spy photos does reveal definite changes in the next-generation model, which appears to be sleeker than the current-generation model. Up front, the cutout of the bonnet itself differs from the current generation. It gets a bigger honeycomb-mesh grille and a bigger and restyled LED headlamps. On the side, the next Swift appears to have a more swoopy roofline. The biggest change is with the rear door handles that are now placed on a more conventional spot, as opposed to the current model's configuration that's hiding...
