Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 with BSVI compliant engine launched
Maruti Suzuki has updated its entry-level hatchback and India’s best selling car – the Alto 800 at a price of Rs. 2.93 lakhs, ex-showroom India, for the STD variant.

The changes that have done to the hatchback consists of tweaks in the design along with additional features over the previous iteration. Most importantly, the 2019 Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 now comes equipped with a BSVI compliant engine, a year before the regulation comes into effect.
Maruti Alto 800’s 796cc petrol engine is now Bharat Stage 6 (BS6) emission norms compliant. The car’s new fuel efficiency is rated at 22.05 Kmpl, which is marked decrease from the outgoing model’s 24.7 Kmpl mileage figure.
