Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport launched. Prices start at INR 10.35 lakh (esp)

Mahindra has launched the XUV300 TurboSport with a new 1.2-litre T-GDi turbo-petrol motor which is the highest-spec powertrain available with the XUV300, topping the existing 1.2 turbo-petrol and 1.5 diesel engines. Prices for the  XUV300 TurboSport range between INR 10.35 lakh-12.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India).  This new motor has been made available on the higher three trims of the XUV300 – W6, W8 and W8(O). Powering the XUV300 TurboSport is a 1.2-litre mStallion TGDi engine that puts out 128 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 230 Nm @ 1,500-3,750 rpm. It is said to enable the SUV to sprint from 0-60 km/h in 5 seconds. 130hp Mahindra XUV300 Sportz spied testing?

A test mule of the Mahindra XUV300 has been spotted in Chennai. It has been speculated that it might be the rumoured Sportz variant powered by the more powerful 1.2-litre turbo-petrol mStallion engine. The test car seen here looks identical to the standard XUV300. It appears to be an all-black example and is equipped with black alloy wheels. There are chrome inserts on the front fascia, and it also has fog lamps, roof rails as well as ORVMs with turn indicators. The engine in question is Mahindra's 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder mStallion direct injection turbo-petrol unit. It produces 128 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 230 Nm @ 1,500-3,750 rpm.
