Hyundai Alcazar SUV production-spec revealed

Hyundai has revealed the production-spec Alcazar SUV - the three-row derivative of the Creta, ahead of its launch in our market in the coming weeks. The main talking point on the interior is the added row of seats. The Alcazar will be available with both a 6- seat (with captain’s seats in the second row) and 7-seat (with bench seating in the second row) configurations. In both configurations the second-row seats feature a one-touch tumble mechanism to give access to the rear seats as well as a sliding function to either free up more space for the second or third row passengers. Hyundai has released a video of the Alcazar showing how it can take on the different terrains. The Alcazar car gets a longer rear overhang, a prominent quarter glass aft of the rear door and a new-look D-pillar with a slightly upright rear. Hyundai Santa Cruz pick-up teased. Unveil on April 15th

The production-spec Hyundai Santa Cruz pickup truck has been teased ahead of its global unveil on April 15, 2021. The model in the images actually has more in common with fourth-generation Tucson SUV. The grille and headlight design are near identical to the new Tucson, as are the flared fenders and prominent character lines on the side. Hyundai has not released any technical details about the Santa Cruz pick-up truck, though the carmaker claims that it will come with powerful and efficient powertrain options. The Alcazar is a 7-seater version of the Creta which is already the best selling mid-size SUV of the Indian market. Hyundai has officially showcased the sketches of the Alcazar before the launch. The Alcazar gets extended rear overhang to accommodate the third row of seats and a much thicker C-pillar. At the side, we get side skirts and new diamond-cut alloy wheels. The LED turn indicators are present on the outside rearview mirrors. In the sketches, there are also strong shoulder lines that start from the front wheel arch and continue to the rear one. Hyundai has launched the new i20 in India. The price of the new i20 starts at INR 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base Magna trim and goes all the way up to INR 11.17 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Asta (O) trim. Hyundai has unveiled the design sketches for its yet to be launched sub 4-m SUV, the Venue. The SUV will be loaded with Hyundai's BlueLink connectivity interface, an AI-powered interface with important safety features such as speed alert, geofencing, panic buttons and 'share destination' to ensure the safety of the passengers in case of a distress situation. The BlueLink connectivity interface has been developed with 33 features out of which 10 are specific to the Indian market. Hyundai has revealed a new teaser of the upcoming Kona crossover. From the teaser shot it can be seen that the Kona features Hyundai's standard six-sided cascade grille and LED daytime running lights. The Kona will be revealed at the New York auto show in June this year. To be noted, the thin lights up top are just the daytime running lights. The 2018 Hyundai i20 has been spotted on the outskirts of Chennai. The 2018 i20 gets styling tweaks in front which is in line with the latest Grand i10, recently launched refreshed Xcent and the Elantra. The current-gen Hyundai i20 (Elite i20) has been on sale since 2014 and is next in line to receive a mid-cycle update. Hyundai does away with the two-part grille and in its place is a single, large 'Cascade' type grille.
