Hero Xoom launched at INR 68,599/- Features cornering lights

Hero has launched the Xoom, its first scooter of the year. The vehicle is available in three variants – LX, VX and ZX. These are priced at INR 68,599, INR 71,799 and INR76,699, respectively (all prices ex-showroom).. These prices are introductory and it is unclear at the moment till when they will be offered, before a price hike. In terms of design, the Xoom is a good-looking scooter. At the front, it gets an LED projector headlamp with an H-shaped LED DRL. There are sporty cuts and creases on the body lines, multi-spoke alloy wheels, and an H-shaped LED taillamp. Hero MotoCorp has launched its first electric scooter in the Indian market. The Hero Vida V1 electric scooter is available in Plus and Pro variants, priced at INR 1.45 lakh and INR 1.59 lakh, respectively. The V1 Plus and V1 Pro differ in terms of range as well as performance. Hero MotoCorp is offering Vida V1 in two variants namely Vida V1 Pro and Vida V1 Plus. Pro is the top-spec variant and claims 165 km (IDC) of range on a single charge from a 3.94 kWh battery while accelerating from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.2 seconds. Vida V1 Plus promises 143 km (IDC) of range on a single charge from a 3.44 kWh battery while accelerating from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.4 seconds. Top speed is capped at 80 km/h for both variants. Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of the new Glamour Xtec in the Indian market. The 125cc motorcycle will be sold in two variants – Drum (Rs 78,900) and Disc (Rs 83,500). The latest iteration of the Glamour packs several new features over the standard motorcycle. The new Glamour Xtec benefits from Bluetooth connectivity function, turn-by-turn navigation system, integrated USB charger, and an LED headlamp. The world’s largest manufacturer of two-wheelers is asking INR 49,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the new motorcycle. At this price, the Hero HF 100 has become the most affordable motorcycle in the company’s entire product range. The new Hero HF 100 is another variant of the highly popular Hero HF Deluxe and is available in only a single colour, black with red, In terms of equipment, the new HF 100 has 130mm drum brakes at both ends and uses a pair of conventional telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Hero Xpulse 200T BS6 launched at INR 1.13 lakh

Hero’s road-biased Xpulse, the 200T has been updated to meet BS6 emission norms. Priced at  Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) the bike now costs around Rs 19,000 more than the discontinued carburetted BS4 model. When compared to the Xpulse 200, the T costs around Rs 2,000 less. Fuel-injection and modifications to the exhaust system have brought about a change in the power and torque figures. It now makes 18.1hp and 16.1Nm, while the older one made 18.4hp and 17.1Nm. Another significant change is the addition of an oil-cooler. The oil-cooler and the catalytic converter in the exhaust have brought along with them a 4kg increase in weight, putting the BS6 200T’s weight at 154kg. The rest of the bike, meanwhile, appears identical to the BS4 model.
