Kia Carens MPV scores 3-star Global NCAP safety rating

The Kia Carens has scored a 3-star rating for both adult and child occupant protection in the latest round of crash tests by the Global New Car Assessment Programme (GNCAP). The India-spec Kia Carens MPV was tested in its most basic safety specification, fitted with two frontal airbags, two side-body airbags, and two side head protection airbags. ESC is also a standard fit in this spec. An average 3-star rating is, therefore, surprising. The Kia Carens were also side-impact tested and fulfilled the UN95 regulatory requirement. Renault Triber scores 4 Star Global NCAP safety rating

Renault Triber has scored four-star rating in the GNCAP crash test.  The Triber was awarded four stars in adult occupancy safety and three stars for child occupancy safety . The Triber is Renault India's sub-four metre seven-seater SUV and one of its most successful offering, having sold more than 75,000 units since its launch in August 2019. The NCAP test recorded the ratings based on a front-impact crash test at 64kmph. The Triber model being tested featured two front airbags and seatbelts with a pre-tensioner on the driver's side.
