All-electric BMW iX SUV launched in India at INR 1.16 Crore

The BMW iX all-electric SUV has been launched in India for a price of INR 1.16 Crore, (ex-showroom, India). The iX is BMW’s first electric vehicle in the country that comes via the CBU (completely built unit) route. It will be available in xDrive40 variant only for now. The xDrive40 gets a dual electric motor set-up with one motor on each axle, giving it all-wheel drive. The AWD controller distributes torque between the front and rear axles, depending on driving conditions. The all-wheel-drive green SUV produces a potent 326PS and 630Nm which makes for a sprint to 100kmph in just 6.1 seconds. Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT launched in India starting at INR 1.79 crore

Audi India has launched the Audi e-tron GT and Audi RS e-tron GT at INR 1.79 crore and INR 2.04 crore respectively. Prices are ex-showroom and the cars will be imported as a CBU. The e-tron GT uses two electric motors; one on each axle, with a combined output of 469 BHP and 630 Nm. It comes with an 'over-boost' function which bumps the output to 523 BHP. The RS version packs 590 BHP and 830 Nm. The rear motor is mated to a 2-speed transmission. The e-tron GT uses an 85 kWh battery that is said to provide a maximum range of 488 km on a single charge. The RS variant has a slightly lower range of 472 km on a single charge. Omega Seiki Mobility M1KA SCV unveiled with 250km range

Omega Seiki Mobility has unveiled the country’s first-ever electric SCV (small commercial vehicle) the M1KA. The M1KA is the brand’s first attempt in the four-wheeled commercial vehicle space. The M1KA is equipped with a high-voltage electric powertrain, comprising a 90 kWh NMC battery pack and an electric motor with a peak torque of 347 Nm. Piaggio launches Ape Electrik FX e-rickshaw and e-Xtra FX cargo

Piaggio has launched the Ape Electrik FX range of electric 3-wheelers for cargo and passenger segments in India. The e-City FX is priced at Rs. 2.84 lakh, while the e-Xtra FX costs Rs. 3.12 lakh (ex-showroom, India excluding Kerala).
