Tata Tiago EV launched with 315km range. Prices start at INR 8.49 lakh

Tata Motors launched the Tiago EV at an introductory price of INR 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-of-the-line variant of the Tiago EV is priced at INR11.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings for the Tiago EV will commence on October 10. The deliveries of the vehicle will commence next year in January. Tata Motors has reserved 2,000 units of the maiden 10,000 units of the Tiago EV, which will be offered at introductory prices, for the existing Nexon EV and Tigor EV owners. The new Tata Tiago EV is available with two different battery packs -- 19.2kWh and 24kWh. While the 19.2kWh variant gets a 3.3kW AC charging option, the 24kWh variant has 3.3kW AC and 7.2kW AC charging options. Jaguar I-Pace launched in India at INR 1.06 crore

Jaguar has launched the I-Pace ; the first all-electric offering by the carmaker in India. It has been priced from Rs 1.06 crore for the base S trim and goes up to Rs 1.12 crore for the top-spec HSE trim (ex-showroom, India). The Jaguar I-Pace is available in three trim levels in India - S, SE, and HSE. The I-Pace comes with two electric motors that produce a combined 400hp and 696Nm of torque. Jaguar claims the 2.2-tonne electric SUV can do the 0-100kph sprint in 4.8sec, and go on to hit a top speed of 200kph. Jaguar has equipped the all-electric I-Pace with a 90kWh battery.
