2021 Ducati Panigale V4 launched in India with host of updates

Prices start from Rs 23.50 lakh for the standard bike and go up to Rs 28.40 lakh for the ‘S’ variant (both prices, ex-showroom, India). This makes the standard variant around Rs 80,000 more expensive than before, while the ‘S’ variant has become dearer by Rs 1.90 lakh. The Panigale V4 range is powered by a 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. To comply with stringent emissions regulations while ensuring no loss of power, Ducati has reworked the exhaust internals. It now delivers a ludicrous 213PS and 124Nm, with a redline set at a high 13,000rpm! In addition to this, in 2020, Ducati also tweaked the chassis and suspension setup, and made an attempt at friendlier power delivery to make the Panigale V4 sligh...

Ducati’s new Superleggera V4 is missile on two wheels

Rejoice!! Ducati has unveiled the Superleggera V4. It is, as Ducati puts it, the “most powerful and technologically advanced” production bike the company has ever produced. Superleggera means 'super-light' in Italian. To keep the weight down, Superleggera ditches the aluminium bits for carbon fibre and it's been used to form every component possible to improve performance. In all, Ducati has managed to trim 6.7kg, which is significant for a high-performance superbike. The Superleggera V4 features carbon-fibre fairing, wheels, swingarm, frame and subframe. The claimed power-to-weight ratio in this street-legal configuration is 1.41hp/kg. Ducati will also supply a track-only, titanium Akrapovic exhaust that reduces the weight further to 152.2kg, while bumping up the power...

Custom Ducati Scramblers at Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy

Ducati unveiled two custom made motorcycles based on the Scrambler at the 2017 Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy. Dubbed the Scrambler R/T and Scrambler Essence the motorcycles are crafted by Anvil Motorcycles and South Garage respectively. The Scrambler R/T here is the modern reinterpretation of the Ducati R/T (Road and Track), a motorcycle from the 70s that gave a strong influence to the current range of Ducati Scramblers. The Scrambler R/T is made to look like its ancestor through a custom tank, modified to perfectly match with the re-worked chassis, handlebars that recall the classic shapes of those used in the competitions in the Californian deserts as well as a special saddle wrapped in cowhide that reminds of the American 70s stunt-bike style. The Scrambler Essence creat...
