2021 Ducati Monster launched. Open for bookings
Ducati has launched the new Monster in India and has started taking bookings for it. The bike is available in two variants - Base and Monster Plus, priced at Rs. 10.99 lakh and Rs. 11.24 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
Powering the Monster is the 937cc engine also seen in the Multistrada 950 and the Supersport. This motor complies with the stricter Euro 5/BS6 emission norms. Power and torque stand at 111hp and 93Nm, which is a slight increase over the older model.
The Monster is based on a new aluminium chassis and features a glass fibre reinforced polymer sub-frame. This has resulted in a weight saving of 18 kg over the previous model and a competitive kerb weight of 188kg.
