Atum 1.0 cafe-racer styled e-bike launched. Offers 100km per charge
Hyderabad-based EV start-up Atumobile has launched the Atum 1.0 electric bike for a starting price of Rs 50,000.
Powering it is a 48 V portable lithium-ion battery pack that offers 100 km range per charge (claimed) and it can be juiced up completely in 4 hours. A 250 W electric motor provides the propulsion to a maximum speed of 25 km/hr.
The Atum 1.0 electric bike does not need a registration certificate and you don't require a driving license to ride it. Atumobile claims that the electric bike is perfect for kids, adults and elders for city commute. The new Atum 1.0 has been approved as a low-speed bike by the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), making it ready for commercial use.
