Ashok Leyland launches ecomet STAR 1115 CNG truck

Ashok Leyland has launched its ecomet Star 1115 CNG truck in 11.44 T GVW category. The truck is powered by an H series CNG turbocharged engine which produces 106kW (144HP) and 450 Nm torque. The company also offers multiple options of CNG cylinder capacity (360L to 480L) and load span (17ft, 20ft and 22ft). With this product, Ashok Leyland has strengthened its ICV CNG portfolio in the 11T CNG segment. The vehicle also comes with a spacious cabin which will have a new digital dashboard with Advance Driver Assist (ADA), Advanced telematics (i-Alert), remote diagnostics with 24×7 customer assistance through the Uptime Solution Centre will also be offered. Ashok Leyland Bada Dost launched. Available in 2 variants

Ashok Leyland has launched the Bada Dost LCV in the Indian market. It is available in two variants - i3 (2.99 tonne GVW) and i4 (3.49 tonne GVW) and comes in two trim levels - LS and LX. Prices start at Rs. 7.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Customers can also book the vehicle online. Based on a new platform developed in-house, Bada Dost is larger than the existing Dost LCV and comes with a 9.8 inch loading bay and a 50-litre fuel tank. It rides on 15-inch wheels and has a ground clearance of 206 mm. 2020 Ashok Leyland Dost BS6 rolls out from production line

Even after 9 years since its launch, Ashok Leyland Dost has managed to create a niche for itself in the 1 – 1.5 tonne payload category and manages to sell in decent numbers. So, it is not a surprise that Ashok Leyland wants to keep its LCV alive in the new BS6 era. The Dost is available in 3 variants - Dost Lite, Strong and Plus with rated payload capacities of 1,150 kg, 1,250 kg and 1,475 kg respectively. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine which was developed by the Indo-Japanese JV. On board the Dost Plus which has a payload capacity of 1,475 kg, the motor produces 60 hp and 170 Nm of torque.
