Hyundai Motor Company staged a world premiere of Santa Cruz crossover truck concept and Sonata Plug-in Hybrid, the company’s first Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), at the 2015 North International Auto Show.
The Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is expected to travel up to 22 miles on electric power and can recharge in as little as two and a half hours with a Level 2 charger. (more…)

No Comments 2015 NAIAS DETROIT: Lexus reveals the GS F performance V8 saloon at Detroit
Lexus revealed the new GS F at the Detroit motor show, the latest addition to its stable of F-designated high performance models. Based on the current GS saloon, it retains the four-door format and can comfortably seat five adults.
The GS F is powered by Lexus’s normally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 engine, producing 470bhp and peak torque of 530Nm. (more…)

No Comments 2015 NAIAS Detroit: Volkswagen unveils 5-seater Cross Coupé GTE
Volkswagen has unveiled a new five-seater midsize SUV concept car at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Called the Cross Coupé GTE, it is a plug-in hybrid vehicle with all-wheel drive unit.
Powering the Cross Coupé GTE is a 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine in combination with two electric motors. The six-cylinder direct-injection engine (FSI) delivers 280 PS and maximum torque of 350 Nm, while the two electric motors deliver 40 kW and 220 Nm (front) and 85 kW and 270 Nm (rear). (more…)
