Mahindra has started working on the Scorpio Getaway facelift which is expected to be unveiled at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The Scorpio Getaway is a pickup derived from the Scorpio SUV.
The pickup truck is also sold to other parts of the world like New Zealand, Australia and South Africa under the nomenclature Mahindra ’Pik-Up’ .
The test mule features the ‘Pik-Up’ tag on its tailgate. The Mahindra Pik-Up gets a revised front fascia borrowed from the Scorpio SUV. The new grille, double barrel headlamps with DRLs and bumper are clearly visible.

The side profile remains largely the same. The pick-up spied here is a double cab version with a capability to seat 5 people. The cabin will also get improved materials while the seats will continue to be upholstered in fabric.
The Australian version already comes with a 2-DIN audio system, tilt steering, central lock, power windows and HVAC unit which will be retained on the outgoing model as well.
The Mahindra Pik-Up is expected to be powered by a 2.2 litre mHawk turbocharged diesel engine producing 120 bhp and 280 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. All wheel drive option can also be expected.
