Ford is working on the new revamped Figo hatchback which will roll out of the Sanand based manufacturing facility next year. Known as Ford Ka in Brazil, the 2015 Figo is expected to reach the Indian shores by April next year.
The company has begun testing the model on Indian roads ahead of its launch.

CarToq’s crew has a minimally camouflaged 2015 Figo hatchback from a secret location in India.

Mechanically, the new Ford Figo hatchback uses the same platform as the Fiesta sedan. The 2015 Figo will be powered by 1.5 liter TDCI unit carried over from the Fiesta which produces 75bhp of power and 190Nm of torque.

The 1.2-litre petrol unit will be replaced by a fully-localized 1-litre engine non tubocharged engine based on the EcoBoost.
