Bajaj Pulsar AS200 (Adventure Sports) was revealed through a set of photographs taken from Indonesia last week. Now Fly-wheel has posted few more pics of the Pulsar AS200 with interesting details.
The Bajaj Pulsar AS200 is basically the 200NS with a semi-fairing. The AS200 will be positioned as a tourer bike just like the Yamaha Fazer. Minor tweaks in handle par position can be expected for better touring ergonomics.
The front visor on the AS200 is wide and tall. Bajaj has also added projector headlamp unit. Other parts like the turn indicators,, instrument cluster, engine, suspension, tyres, brakes , rear LED lights etc are shared from Pulsar 200 NS. To be noticed is the rear mudguard which is lifted from the current generation Pulsar 150.
The Bajaj Pulsar AS200 may be powered by 199.5 cc liquid cooled engine capable of producing 23.52 PS of power and 18.3 Nm of torque. Few tweaks can be excepted for added performance. The engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox.
These images were actually captured in India. Bajaj showcased the model to Naked Wolves Indonesia at their Chakan plant in Pune.
