Opting for the striking Spectral Blue hue, both of them proudly received their new SUV. The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 made its debut in the Indian market in November 2020 and holds the distinction of being the first AMG model manufactured in India. As a result of its local assembly, this model boasts an attractive price tag, costing less than INR 1 crore.

Under the hood, the car houses a potent 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This V6 engine generates an impressive maximum power of 390 PS and a peak torque of 520 Nm. It showcases its agility by sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 4.9 seconds, while its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. The power is efficiently distributed to all four wheels through the AMG Performance 4MATIC system, although it remains rear-wheel biased with 69% of the total output directed to the rear wheels.

In terms of aesthetics, the AMG-powered GLC exhibits a sporty touch that distinguishes it from the standard GLC Coupe. Notable design elements include the Panamericana grille, modified front bumper, side skirts, quad-piped exhausts, rear diffuser element, and a set of sportier alloy wheels.

Stepping inside, the cabin boasts a plethora of features, including captivating red highlights throughout. These accents infuse the GLC 43 Coupe with a sporty flair, complemented by bucket seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and paddle shifters finished in aluminum.

The dashboard showcases a dual-screen arrangement, comprising a substantial 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with the latest MBUX software as standard. Given its AMG pedigree, the SUV also offers AMG-specific display styles. Additionally, the luxurious SUV incorporates adaptive damping for the suspension and five drive modes that enable adjustments to the engine, transmission, suspension, and steering, catering to the driver’s preferences and enhancing the driving experience.

While many celebrities gravitate towards large luxury SUVs, it is noteworthy that this is the first instance of someone from the film industry selecting the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 SUV. Following the introduction of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600, there was a surge in Bollywood owners, albeit with only a few opting for high-performance vehicles. Given that most celebrities prioritize the rear seats, it will be intriguing to observe whether Chinki and Minki fully embrace the power and driving pleasure offered by AMG cars.
