Zakir Khan has brought home a brand-new Range Rover Velar worth over Rs. 1 crore. He well known for standup specials like – Haq Se Single and Kaksha Gyarviwhich have been featured on Amazon Prime Video, and for being a judge on the reality show Comicstan.
His younger brother, singer and songwriter, Zeeshan Khan, posted the photo on social media with a congratulatory message. He also took a dig at his brother for wearing slippers to take the delivery of his new luxury SUV. Range Rover SUVs are quite popular among celebrities and politicians. The comedian also owns Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Eritiga and Mahindra Thar. The SUV is available only in R-Dynamic S variant.

The SUV gets two engine options – a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel. The petrol engine puts out 250 bhp of power and comes mated with 8-speed automatic transmission which sends power to all four wheels. The diesel engine produces 204 bhp of power and 430 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated with a 8-speed automatic. This unit also gets mild hybrid tech. The price for the SUV starts from Rs 90 lakh (ex-showroom). The Velar competes with Volvo XC60, Mercedes GLE Coupe and the BMW X6.
