Indian singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan is known for his work in the music industry and he is a person who needs no introduction. He recently added a new car to his garage – the Kia Carnival.
In terms of space, the Kia Carnival is super spacious and that is mainly because of its dimensions. It is 5,115 mm long, 1,985 mm wide and 1,740 mm tall. Kia Carnival is an apt vehicle for those who think Innova Crysta is too common and don’t want to spend a lot of money of Toyota Vellfire and Mercedes-Benz V-Class. It is positioned between these two segments.
Kia Carnival is powered by a 2.2 litre turbocharged diesel engine that generates 200 Ps and 440 Nm of peak torque. The engine is available with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. Kia Carnival offers a comfortable ride to the occupants.
In terms of design, it is a bulky looking MPV which has decent amount of road presence as well. The signature Tiger nose grille, LED fog lamps, decent usage of chrome give it a premium look. The price for Kia Carnival MPV starts at Rs 24.95 lakh, ex-showroom and go up to Rs 33.95 lakh, ex-showroom.
Kia Carnival is available in Premium, Prestige and Limousine trims. Shankar Mahadevan has gone for the Premium variant with 7-seat configuration.
