Mahindra, one of India’s leading automotive manufacturers, has announced the launch of its new Bolero MaXX Pik-Up range, which comprises two model lines – the City and the HD – with a total of 12 variants. The Bolero MaXX range is priced starting from INR 7.85 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Bolero MaXX City 1.3 LX CBC and goes up to INR 10.33 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Bolero MaXX HD 2.0L LX.
The Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD range, designed for inter-city use, comes with a powerful 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 80bhp and 220Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. There are four variants available in the HD range, with differences in the size of the load-carrying bed and payload capacity. The HD 1.3 has a payload capacity of 1,250kg and a cargo bed measuring 2,765mm in length, 1,800mm in width, and 650mm in height. Meanwhile, the HD 1.7 has the same cargo bed dimensions but a higher payload capacity of 1,700kg.
The Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD 1.7L comes with a larger cargo bed measuring 3,050mm in length, 1,800mm in width, and 650mm in height, and a payload capacity of 1,700kg. The top-of-the-line MaXX HD 2.0L has the same bed size as the HD 1.7L, but offers a larger payload capacity of 2,000kg and larger 16-inch tires.
Mahindra is offering the Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD in two trim options – the LX and the VXi. The VXi variant comes with additional features such as height-adjustable seats, cornering headlamps, LED tail lamps, a digital instrument cluster, and a Gold exterior color option. The trim also includes iMAXX tech, which enables the owner or fleet operator to track the vehicle, plan routes, set geo-fencing, and monitor the vehicle’s health.
With the launch of the new Bolero MaXX Pik-Up range, Mahindra aims to further consolidate its position in the Indian automotive market and cater to the growing demand for reliable and efficient cargo vehicles.
