Mahindra XUV Aero- coupe inspired four-door crossover

Mahindra showcased a new design study concept at the Auto Expo 2016 . Dubbed as the Mahindra XUV Aero, the coupe-inspired four-door crossover is based on the XUV500 SUV.

The XUV Aero concept has been designed by Mahindra’s in-house design team taking inputs from Pininfarina, Italy.  The concept  can go into mass production, but depends on the feedback of the public.

Features of Mahindra XUV Aero Concept

  • Designed in-house  taking inputs from Pininfarina, Italy
  • Aerodynamic silhouette along with a muscular and sporty stance.
  • Chunky bumper with faux diffusers
  • Design highlighted by the flared arches, rising shoulder line
  • Stubby rear end and angular C-pillar.
  • Raked roofline, which is common with SUV coupes like the BMW X6 and GLE Coupe.
  • Headlights with LED DRLs.
  • Suicide door style design
  • Infotainment and connectivity features that will be offered on Mahindra’s production models in the future
  • Powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk engine producing 210PS
  • The engine features advanced combustion system with low pressure EGR adaptability for improved NVH and better fuel efficiency.
  • Accelerates from 0-100kmph in under six seconds
