The Leoncino is Benelli’s scrambler motorcycle showcased at the EICMA 2015. The motorcycle with its pleasant and sleek shape recalls the legendary ‘50s model, which had great success on the international tracks. Note the Lion logo on the front fender.
The Leoncino is powered by a brand new 499.6cc, twin-cylinder engine with liquid cooling developing 46.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 45Nm torque at 4,500rpm combined with a six-speed gearbox.
Other technical solutions are: steel trellis frame holds a 50 mm fork and a preload-adjustable shock in back. The wheels (19″ front and 17″ rear) have knobby tires. The dual disc brakes up front are large 320 mm units squeezed by radial mount calipers. ABS comes as standard equipment.
There is no official word by Benelli on the arrival of Leoncino to India. Expect the motorcycle to be showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo
