Suzuki has launched a new 125cc scooter called the Avenis at INR. 86,700/-. The 125cc scooter is a sportier alternative to the Access 125 and Burgman Street.
The Avenis features a sporty bodywork with an apron-mounted LED headlamp and split LED tail lamps. Also new is the inclusion of an external fuel filler cap and split grab rails.
The Avenis gets a digital instrument console that sits behind a neat looking visor. It features Bluetooth connectivity and once connected to the Suzuki Ride Connect app, displays call and message alerts on the instrument console screen in addition to turn-by-turn navigation and event reminders.
Underneath the new bodywork, the Avenis shares its chassis and engine with the tried and tested Suzuki Access 125. It has the same telescopic fork, monoshock set-up and the scooter rides on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheels. The brake set-up are the same as well.
Powering the Avenis is a 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 8.7hp at 6,750rpm and 10Nm at 5,500rpm.
The Avenis is available in five colours, including the MotoGP machine inspired colourway. That will set you back by Rs 87,000. Bookings begin in the first week of December 2021 and deliveries will begin shortly after.
