TVS has launched the new Apache RTR 200 4V in India. The motorcycle now comes with first in segment ride modes – Sport, Urban and Rain. There is a dedicated ride mode switch, which helps rider to change ride modes on the fly.
Priced at Rs 1.31 lakhs (ex-showroom), the new Apache is 1k more costly than existing Dual ABS Apache 200. TVS has also provided adjustable front suspension. The telescopic forks are from Showa and can be tuned for preload adjustment. Also new is the adjustable front brake and clutch levers.
TVS has also come up with an attractive new matte blue colour which is inspired by the company’s race bikes that are used in the One Make Championships. The new motorcycle is also available in Gloss Black and Pearl White.

Powering the 2020 Apache RTR 4V is a 197.75cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine which produces 20.82 PS at 9,000 rpm and 17.25 Nm at 7,250 rpm in the Sport mode whereas in the Urban and Rain mode it delivers 17.32 PS at 7,800 rpm and 16.51 Nm at 5,750 rpm.
