Honda has launched a new modern classic bike called the H’Ness CB350 in India with prices starting at Rs. 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom). For now, the motorcycle will be displayed at some of the key Big Wing India dealerships in Gurgaon, Mumbai and other regions, wherein customers can get a look and feel of the product. The CB 350 will be sold in two variants, DLX and DLX Pro.
The new Honda H’ness CB350 is powered by a 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 20.8hp at 5,500rpm and 30Nm of torque at 3,000rpm. The peak torque figure is produced rather low in the rev range and this should enable good initial performance off the line. The H’ness CB350 employs a 5-speed gearbox.
The styling is inspired by yesteryear Honda CB motorcycles, which is evident in the round LED headlamp, the shape of the tank and the large ‘Honda’ badge that runs across. Completing the Honda H’ness CB350’s modern classic looks are the chrome fenders, rear shock absorbers and exhaust pipe. There is a smattering of chrome on the engine fins and cases as well.
The Honda CB 350 comes with Honda Smartphone Voice Control system using which the rider can connect his smartphone with the motorcycle via Bluetooth through HSVCS application. Once connected, rider can operate the system with controls on the left side of the handle bar to use distinct features such as phone calls, navigation, music playback and incoming messages. Then there is Honda select torque control and dual-channel ABS with 310mm disc in the front and 240mm rear disc.
