Honda launched the CB300F in India, with prices starting at INR 2.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The CB300F is available in two variants – Deluxe (INR 2.26 lakh) and Deluxe Pro (INR 2.29 lakh). The CB300F will be sold through Honda’s premium BigWing dealerships in India.
The design of the CB300R is inspired by the bigger CB500F that’s available in the international markets. It gets sharp design lines with a low-slung headlamp, pointed tank extensions with an upswept tail section. It features LED headlamp, fully digital instrument cluster and Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS) for uninterrupted connectivity.
Powering the CB300F is a new 293cc, oil-cooled, four-valve, SOHC engine that churns out 23.8bhp and 25.6Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox along with an assist and slipper clutch.
The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by upside-down forks up front and a five-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking duties are handled by a single disc at both ends, measuring 276mm up front and 220mm at the rear. The CB300F gets Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) that brings stability during slippery conditions by ensuring optimum traction.
Honda is offering the CB300F in three colours – Mat Axis Grey Metallic, Mat Marvel Blue Metallic and Sports Red.
