2021 Ducati Panigale V4 launched in India with host of updates

Ducati has relaunched its flagship superbike, the Panigale V4, in India. Prices start from Rs 23.50 lakh for the standard bike and go up to Rs 28.40 lakh for the ‘S’ variant (both prices, ex-showroom, India). This makes the standard variant around Rs 80,000 more expensive than before, while the ‘S’ variant has become dearer by Rs 1.90 lakh.

The Panigale V4 range is powered by a 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. To comply with stringent emissions regulations while ensuring no loss of power, Ducati has reworked the exhaust internals. It now delivers a ludicrous 213PS and 124Nm, with a redline set at a high 13,000rpm!

In addition to this, in 2020, Ducati also tweaked the chassis and suspension setup, and made an attempt at friendlier power delivery to make the Panigale V4 slightly easier to ride.

The 2021 Panigale V4 also reworked the ride modes. It now allows riders to compare two setups on the fly and choose the best suited for them. Suspension components remain unchanged both on the Panigale V4 and V4S except for the inclusion of a new chain guard fin and self bleeding brake and clutch pumps.
