Mahindra e-Alfa Cargo launced at INR 1.44 lakh

Mahindra Electric Mobility Ltd, the electric vehicle manufacturing subsidiary of the Indian automaker- Mahindra Group has launchd a new three-wheeler called e-Alfa Cargo. This battery-powered cargo vehicle has been priced at a INR 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra claims that an owner of e-Alfa Cargo can save up to Rs 60 000.00 per year in fuel costs when compared with a diesel cargo 3-wheeler. E Alfa Cargo is powered by an electric motor with a peak power output of 1.5 kW while using the unique additional High Torque gear. It gets a dual-speed manual transmission with an integrated differential that ensures a good grade ability of 7 degrees. After electric scooter, it looks like Ola is now planning to launch an electric car in the market. Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal recently shared the images of a prototype of an electric car on Twitter asking the followers if they can keep a secret. Spies have caught a testing an electric scooter that might be the upcoming Okinawa Oki90 electric scooter. Okinawa's upcoming e-scooter caught our attention because of its sheer size. The new e-scooter appears to have a long wheelbase and is equipped with large alloy wheels. It has telescopic suspension at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It also gets disc brakes at both ends. The company, on earlier occasions had shared hints on its product pipeline. Bharat Forge-backed electric two-wheeler maker Tork Motors has finally launched not one, but two e-bikes – the Kratos and Kratos R. The Kratos is priced at Rs 1,92,499, while the R version retails for INR 2,07,499 (ex-showroom, Pune). FAME-II subsidies knock a significant INR 60,000 off these prices, bringing the effective ex-showroom prices down to INR 1,32,499 and INR 1,47,499. In states where a state subsidy for EVs is applicable, there are further benefits on purchasing the bikes -- in Pune, state subsidies bring effective ex-showroom prices down to INR 1,07,999 and INR 1,22,999, while in Delhi, the Kratos' ex-showroom price is as low as INR 1,02,499. The BMW iX all-electric SUV has been launched in India for a price of INR 1.16 Crore, (ex-showroom, India). The iX is BMW’s first electric vehicle in the country that comes via the CBU (completely built unit) route. It will be available in xDrive40 variant only for now. The xDrive40 gets a dual electric motor set-up with one motor on each axle, giving it all-wheel drive. The AWD controller distributes torque between the front and rear axles, depending on driving conditions. Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter launched

Indian startup Bounce has launched its first electric scooter, the Infinity E1 electric scooter at Rs 68,999 (ex-showroom Delhi). This price includes the battery and a home charger. You can also buy the scooter at Rs 45,099 (ex-showroom Delhi) without the battery and with a battery subscription plan. The scooter can be prebooked for a refundable amount of Rs 499 and deliveries will start by March 2022. The Infinity E1 will be offered with a unique ‘Battery as a service’ option, where customers can either buy the scooter with the battery and the charger, or even avail the battery pack on a rental basis. Audi India has launched the Audi e-tron GT and Audi RS e-tron GT at INR 1.79 crore and INR 2.04 crore respectively. Prices are ex-showroom and the cars will be imported as a CBU. The e-tron GT uses two electric motors; one on each axle, with a combined output of 469 BHP and 630 Nm. It comes with an 'over-boost' function which bumps the output to 523 BHP. The RS version packs 590 BHP and 830 Nm. The rear motor is mated to a 2-speed transmission. The e-tron GT uses an 85 kWh battery that is said to provide a maximum range of 488 km on a single charge. Hyderabad-based EV startup called Gravton has entered the electric two-wheeler segment in India. The company has launched its first electric bike known as the Gravton Quanta at an introductory price of INR 99,000 (ex-showroom, Hyderabad) which is set to increase to around Rs 1.1-1.2 lakh soon. Jaguar has launched the I-Pace ; the first all-electric offering by the carmaker in India.
