Volkswagen Polo and Vento Matt Edition launched. Prices Start at INR 9.99 Lakh

Volkswagen has launched the Polo and Vento Matt Editions in India. The Matt edition is available in the GT variant of the Polo, with prices starting at INR 9.99 lakh. The Vento Matt edition, on the other hand, is priced from INR 11.94 lakh for the Highline AT variant, going up to INR 13.34 lakh for the Highline Plus AT variant (all prices, ex-showroom India). The new special edition models get cosmetic updates on the outside, while the cabin remains untouched. Upgrades on the models include Carbon Steel Grey Matt finish on the roof, fuel flap, front and rear bumper. However, the ORVMs and door handles come with a black glossy finish giving a premium look. Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT launched in India starting at INR 1.79 crore

Audi India has launched the Audi e-tron GT and Audi RS e-tron GT at INR 1.79 crore and INR 2.04 crore respectively. Prices are ex-showroom and the cars will be imported as a CBU. The e-tron GT uses two electric motors; one on each axle, with a combined output of 469 BHP and 630 Nm. It comes with an 'over-boost' function which bumps the output to 523 BHP. The RS version packs 590 BHP and 830 Nm. The rear motor is mated to a 2-speed transmission. The e-tron GT uses an 85 kWh battery that is said to provide a maximum range of 488 km on a single charge. The RS variant has a slightly lower range of 472 km on a single charge. Ford has reintroduced the automatic transmission for Figo. Ford had earlier discontinued the automatic transmission back in 2020. AT is available with the Titanium variant and Ford has introduced a new Titanium+ variant. The prices of the Figo AT starts at Rs. 7.75 lakhs ex-showroom. The automatic transmission is derived from the Ecosport and is a 6-speed unit.
