The Toyota Innova Crysta facelift has been launched in the Indian market. The MPV is available in three variants – GX, VX and ZX and prices range from Rs. 16.26 lakh to Rs. 24.33 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Prices are the same across the country except Kerala. Prices have increased by Rs 20,000-70,000, depending on the variant
The refreshed Innova Crysta gets an imposing trapezoidal grille finished in piano black. The redesigned front bumper gets a new design with larger turn indicator housings and round fog lamps that will be LED units on higher variants. The headlamps are exactly the same as the outgoing model, they now get chrome extensions on the grille. Additionally, the updated Innova Crysta gets new-look 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels that seem to be unique for the Indian model. The rear remains unchanged compared to the ongoing model.
On the inside, the 2021 Innova Crysta gets leather seats on the top trim. Additionally, it also gets standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for its infotainment system. Also, the infotainment now system gets dedicated buttons now for volume control and other functions. Higher variants also get front parking sensors as standard
The Innova Crysta facelift continues with the same set of engine options. These include a 2.4-litre diesel producing 148 HP and 360 Nm as well as a 2.7-litre petrol that puts out 164 BHP and 245 Nm. Both engines come with a choice of a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.
In terms of safety features, the Innova Crysta comes equipped with 7 airbags, Vehicle Stability control and Hill Start Assist. A new addition is the front clearance sonar with MID indication.
