Tata Motors has launched the JET edition of Nexon, Harrier and Safari SUVs. The company says that the new range is inspired by the ‘Business Jets’ and will cater to the demand of customers who want to soar high in luxury. The JET edition SUVs will feature an exclusive interior and exterior design with top-of-the-line features.
Prices for the Nexon Jet Edition start at INR 12.13 lakh, while for the Harrier and Safari, they start at INR 20.90 lakh and INR 21.35 lakh, respectively. The Jet Edition is based on the SUVs’ top-end XZ+ trim.
Like the previous special editions – Dark and Kaziranga, the changes to the Jet Edition are mainly cosmetic, along with some feature additions. Mechanically, the SUVs continue to remain the same.
The Jet Edition brings with it some new design upgrades that enhance the overall premium quotient of the Safari, Harrier, Nexon & Nexon EV Max. The main highlights of the Tata Harrier Jet, Safari Jet, Nexon Jet editions & Nexon EV Max Jet editions is the new Starlight Dual Tone exterior colour, Techno Steel finish bronze dashboard, Jet black alloy wheels, front & rear silver skid plates, embroidered #JET mascot on headrest and dual-tone Oyster White & Granite black interior theme.
In addition to the safety features offered on the XZ+ variant, the Jet Edition adds more active safety features to the Safari and Harrier range. The new features include a driver drowsiness alert, panic brake alert, and an after impact braking. It also gets additional features like USB C-type charger in all rows, new head restraints for the Safari, and electronic parking brake and all-four disc brakes on the Harrier.
The equipment change to the Jet Edition of the Nexon is not as comprehensive as the Harrier and the Safari, but Tata is now offering a wireless charger with the SUV.

The Jet edition of Tata Nexon will be offered in two engine options- a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 120 bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel motor that can deliver 110 bhp and 260 Nm. Transmission options for both engine models will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Driving modes on the new Tata Nexon are Eco, City and Sport.
Engines of the Tata Harrier Jet and Tata Safari Jet remain the same as 2.0-litre multi-jet turbocharged Diesel engine. It is claimed to produce 170 bhp of power at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of peak torque at 1,750-2,500 rpm.
