Suzuki Baleno Cross launched. Details inside

Suzuki Baleno Cross has been launched in Columbia. The made-in-India car receives a sportier and more expressive front bumper which is seen on the India-spec facelift, special dual-tone alloy wheels, side rub strips and roof carrier.

There are no black lower body cladding, raised ground clearance or faux skid plates as we see in hatchback derived crossovers. Like the regular hatchback, it has a length and width of 3,995 mm and 1,745 mm respectively. It is 35 mm taller with a height of 1,505 mm.

It can be said that the Suzuki Baleno Cross is basically an accessorised Suzuki Baleno.

Under the hood is the same old K14B engine. It produces 95 HP (-1 HP) at 6,000 rpm and 130 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, though. This 1.4-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol mill is offered with a standard 5-speed manual transmission and an optional 4-speed automatic transmission.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., is the sole manufacturer of the Baleno hatchback for the entire world. The Cross variant is not likely to be introduced in India.
