Mercedes-Maybach recently unveiled the Maybach S650 Night Edition. With the next-gen Mercedes-Maybach S-Class just around the corner, this might just be the current car’s last hurrah.
The Mercedes-Maybach S 650 is exclusive. Only 15 units of the Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Night Edition will be made, exclusive to the US market.
The S650 Night Edition is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine producing 621 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. The car goes from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds, making it the most powerful sedan in the Mercedes-Maybach line.
It also has the MAGIC BODY CONTROL® suspension, which comes with a camera that surveys the road ahead to detect and counteract surface imperfections, and leans into curves for a more dynamic feeling and handle. The latest LED Intelligent Light System with Ultra Wide Beam headlamps and Adaptive Highbeam Assist are another safety feature in the new Maybach.
As its name suggests, it’s got subtle hints of the night all-round. Starting with the exteriors, it gets an Obsidian Black paint job, shadow smoked 20-inch wheels, carbon fibre trim in the front and rear and a couple of night edition badges on the rear spoiler and the front fenders.
Moving on to the interiors, the night badging continues over inside, then there are night edition floor mats and Nappa leather upholstery in Porcelain and Black.
