Mahindra unveiled the Gusto 125, which will be on sale after the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The Gusto 125 gets a bigger, 124.6cc powerplant. The styling of the scooter is similar to the Gusto 110 which is on sale but with additional stickers on the panels.
The Gusto 125 gets new 124.6 cc, 4 Stroke, Air Cooled M-TEC engine that pumps out maximum power of 8.5bhp @ 7000 rpm and maximum torque of 10.0 Nm @ 5500 rpm compared to 8bhp and 9Nm produced in Gusto 110.
Mahindra have worked on the chassis of the Gusto 125 which makes it lighter by 4-5kgs compared to the Gusto 110.
The Gusto 125 retains following features of the Gusto 110 like
- Height adjustable seat,
- Remote flip key with guide lamp,
- Follow-me-home headlamp,
- LED pilot lamps,
- Quick storage compartment
- Easy front kick mechanism.
- 12-inch tubeless tyres,
- Telescopic front and monoshock rear suspension
As of now, the Mahindra Gusto 125 does not have a front disc brake and instead uses 130mm drums on both ends.
The scooter will be available in four colours- Orange Rush, Bolt White, Monarch Black, Regal Red
Mahindra will be launching the Gusto 125 in February after the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.
