As with other SUVs in its lineup, Mahindra is set to update the Bolero for 2020. The BS6 Bolero will not be updated just with a BS6 engine, but there will be cosmetic updates as well, majority of which will be centred around its looks.
As for the cosmetic changes, the 2020 Bolero will get a revised grille, new front bumper incorporating a new air dam and fog lamps housing, new headlamps and a slightly redesigned hood. Apart from these updates, the new Bolero looks similar to the current version. At the rear, changes are limited to tweaked tail lamps.
Inside the Bolero gets sublte changes. It features the digital instrument cluster which looks similar to the one in the outgoing model.
The new Bolero will also borrow the Bolero Power Plus’ updated safety kit. So expect it to come with a driver airbag, high speed alert, driver and co-driver seatbelt reminder, and rear parking sensors as standard.

The 2020 Mahindra Bolero will get a BS6 version of the same 1.5-litre, three-cylinder engine that does the duty in the Mahindra Bolero Power Plus. Currently, the engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox as standard and puts out 70 bhp and 195 Nm of peak torque. The BS6 engine is expected to produce 75 bhp.
The upcoming version will be offered in B4, B6 and B6(O). The current Bolero Power Plus is available in LX, SLE, SLX and ZLX.
