Ford has launched the Endeavour Sport in India. The SUV is priced at INR 35.10 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Sport is a cosmetic update with no mechanical changes having been made.
The Endeavour Sport is the new top variant in the Endeavour range and is equipped with 4-wheel drive. It features black exterior details like smoked LED headlamps, a black front grille, black roof rails, new black alloys and SPORT decals on doors & tailgate. The SUV also gets black ORVMs, fender grille and side steps.
On the inside, the Endeavour Sport comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with SYNC 3 in-car connectivity, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. It also gets Active Noise Cancellation which is claimed to reduce low frequency engine sounds from entering the cabin. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, hand-free power tail gate, rear parking camera, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, dual-zone automatic climate control as well as 8-way power-adjustable driver & front passenger seat.
The SUV comes with FordPass connectivity features which enable the user to perform functions like remotely starting, stopping, locking or unlocking the vehicle, know the remaining fuel levels & distance to empty & locating their vehicle.
The Endeavour is powered by the 2.0-litre Eco-Blue four-cylinder diesel engine with 170PS and 420Nm. This pairs with 10R80 10-speed torque-converter automatic. The ladder-frame SUV packs some serious off-roading equipment too like four-wheel drive, a transfer case, terrain management system and the Selecshift feature that can limit the number of gears the unit uses. The SUV also gets hill launch assist and hill descent control.
The SUV gets Semi Semi-Auto Parallel Park Assist, Hill launch Assist, Hill Descent Control and up to 7 airbags.
