DSK Motowheels and Italian Superbike brand Benelli launched the TNT 25 in the Indian market. The motorcycle is available in two variants – Standard and Premium priced at Rs 1.68 lakh and Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. The TNT 25 will compete against the likes of KTM Duke 200 and the Mahindra Mojo.
Powering the DSK-Benelli TNT 25 is a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 249cc engine that develops 28.16bhp power at 9,000rpm and 21.61Nm torque at 7,000rpm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle comes with two tyre options – Metzeler and MRF REVZ C tyres.
The DSK-Benelli TNT 25 borrows its design cues from its elder sibling TNT 300. The motorcycle is available in two colours – White and Red.
The TNT 25 will be assembled locally through completely knocked-down (CKD) units. The parts of TNT 25 are manufactured by Benelli at its plant in China and assembled at the DSK Motowheels plant at Wai in Satara district near here with a capacity of delivering 25 bikes per day.
