AMW Motorcycles today introduced the CFMoto brand in India by launching four bikes-300 NK, 650 NK, 650 MT and 650 GT.
The most expensive CFMoto product launched on the Indian shores is the 650GT. Rival to the Kawasaki Ninja 650, the 650GT is available at an ex-showroom price of INR 5.49 lakh.

Designed in Austria, the four CFMoto motorcycles will be offered here through the CKD route and assembled at AMW assembly plant in Bengaluru. The bikes will have a standard warranty of two years. The bookings will open from August 5 and the deliveries will start in October.
Below are the prices (ex-showroom, India) of the four motorcycles.
- CFMoto 300 NK – Rs 2.29 lakh
- CFMoto 650 NK – Rs 3.99 lakh
- CFMoto 650 MT – Rs 4.99 lakh
- CFMoto 650 GT – Rs 5.49 lakh
While 300 NK and 650 NK are street naked bikes, 650 MT is an off-road tourer and 650 GT is a road-biased tourer.

CFMoto 300 NK is powered by a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC, balance shaft, 292.4 cc engine that makes 34 hp and 20.5 Nm of torque. The motor is mated to a six-speed transmission.

CF Moto 650 NK gets a 2-cylinder inline, 8-valve, liquid-cooled, DOHC, Bosch EFI, 649.3 cc engine that produces 61 hp and 58 Nm of torque. The mill is offered with a 6-speed transmission.

CFMoto 650 MT and CFMoto 650 GT get the 2-cylinder, inline, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 649.3 cc engine that makes 62 hp and 58.5 Nm of torque. The motor is provided with a 6-speed transmission.
The middleweight CFMoto 650 GT sports tourer packs a premium feature list that comes in the form of LED headlight, LED blinker, LED tail lamp and a tunnel tested, height-adjustable windscreen. The windshield can be adjusted by up to 60 mm. The cockpit features a 5-inch, TFT-display that comes with two modes – Touring and Sports. The modes toggle between the layout while a self-adjusting backlight reacts to ambient light changes.

The information available on the instrument console includes tachometer, speedometer, odometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, temperature, battery voltage and time. Telltale indicators sit on either side of the digital screen.
A 19-litre fuel tank feeds the motor and it should deliver a decent range between fuel stops. The kerb weight stands at 226 kg. The 795 mm seat height makes it accessible to average size riders while the split style setup gives it a sporty look. Unlike the rest of the CFMoto bikes, the 650GT features a conventionally positioned exhaust pipe instead of compact units that sits closer to the centre of gravity.
The 650GT is available in two colours – Concept Blue and Nebula Black.

In terms of mechanical specifications, the CFMoto 650GT uses a 649.3 cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 8-valve motor that puts out 61.2 PS of max power at 9,000 rpm and 58.5 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is coupled to a six-speed transmission. Braking department comprises twin, petal-type discs on the front wheel and a single rotor at the back to perform the anchoring tasks. The safety net of dual-channel ABS governs the braking setup.
The motorcycle rides on KYB-sourced suspension at the front and back. At the front are 38 mm conventional telescopic forks, while the rear uses an asymmetrically mounted monoshock suspension. The road-biased character is achieved with 17-inch wheels on both ends.
The new CFMoto 650GT will be available in six cities:
- Bangalore
- Hyderabad
- Mumbai
- Chennai
- Kolkata
