Hyundai has launched the 2022 Venue at INR 7.53 lakh. Three years after its introduction, the 2022 Hyundai Venue benefits from styling updates, while gaining more infotainment and connectivity features inside the cabin. The Venue is offered in multiple powertrain options and 5 variants.
Design changes on the 2022 Venue includes larger Dark Chrome grille, the revised split headlights, the elongated bumper intake, the aluminum-style skid plates, the full-width LED taillights, and the tweaked rear bumper. All those elements bring the Venue closer to Hyundai’s more recent models incorporating the brand’s Sensuous Sportiness design language.
Inside, the Venue facelift now comes with a dual-tone black and beige theme. Higher variants come equipped with a 2-step reclining rear seat, a 4-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, an air purifier, rear AC vents, a wireless phone charger and a digital instrument cluster. The car also gets an updated 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 60 connected car features as well as Alexa and Google Voice Assistant.
The engine options of the Hyundai Venue remain unchanged. However, it now gets three drive modes, namely Normal, Eco, and Sport. Powering the SUV is an 82 bhp 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine with 5-speed MT, a 118 bhp 1.0-litre turbo petrol motor with 6-speed iMT & 7-speed DCT, and a 98 hp 1.5-litre diesel unit with 6-speed MT.
Talking about colour options, the updated Hyundai Venue is offered in seven colour shades. There are six mono-tone colours, namely Fiery Red, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Polar White, Titan Grey, and Denim Blue. The company is also offering a dual-tone Fiery Red with a Black roof paint scheme for the top-spec trims.
