LADA announces the start of pre-sales for the new LADA Niva Travel. The 2021 Lada Niva is essentially a facelifted version of Chevrolet Niva which was launched back in 1998 as the VAZ-2123. Start of sales will be announced later, but even today you can choose and book your future SUV on the website lada.ru or via any official LADA dealer website.
The LADA SUV is offered in two main versions: Niva Travel and Niva Travel Off-Road, the latter is distinguished by a standard snorkel, off-road tires and a body kit made of unpainted plastic, which protects the enamel of the body in adverse road conditions.
The front end design now features more modern headlights and a redesigned hood with prominent creases. The grille is much larger than before and the wheel arches are more squared-off compared to the previous Chevrolet-badged Niva. At the back, those taillights are now of the full-LED variety and Lada also made some changes to the bumper.
Images of the interior have not been released, The powertrain is expected to be a 1.7-liter gasoline engine with a mighty 80 HP and 127 Nm channeled to both axles through a five-speed manual gearbox.
