Bentley has launched the updated Bentayga in India. The luxury SUV is priced at Rs. 4.10 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).
As part of the mid-cycle refresh, Bentley has subtly tweaked the Bentayga’s styling with a revised front and rear-end. The most notable change is the new ‘matrix’ grille, which is larger and 30mm higher. This is flanked by new LED matrix headlights that have a cut-crystal design. The hood has also been redesigned in a clamshell shape.
Round the back, the facelift’s changes are easier to spot, as there are new 3D elliptical tail-lights with animated LEDs,similar to those on the Continental GT. The rear number plate is repositioned on the bumper to allow for ‘Bentley’ lettering across the tailgate. Additionally, there is a larger rear spoiler, new side vents and a new alloy wheel design.
On the inside, the Bentayga comes equipped with an updated 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit and premium leather interiors with aluminium trim and expensive veneers. The Mulliner Driving Specification adds quilted seats among other details.
Powering the Bentayga is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 542 BHP and 770 Nm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. The SUV is claimed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 305 km/h.
